I've lived in Austin since 2001 and loved nearly every minute of my time here. Being a former swimmer, upon moving to Austin, I quickly joined the incredibly large and talented triahtlete community and have subsequently spent many of my favorite times on the trail around Town Lake, at Barton Springs Pool, and on the Greenbelt. I've since slowed down quite a bit with training and racing, but over the last couple of years have become more and more interested in photography and begun trying to capture some of the amazing beauty that I've seen on my early morning runs, rides, and swims. I have yet to be able to do justice to what I've had an opportunity to see, but intend to get better in time. I've really enjoyed being a part of the flickr community and hope to take part more as time goes on.
