I'm Robby Sharpe. I consider myself to be an amateur photographer. I first discovered that I enjoy photography in August of 2008, when I went to Detroit to see family. Just so it happens, I was there the week before the "Woodward Dream Cruise - 2008", so there were hundreds of really nice vehicles cruising up and down Woodward Avenue. My cousin Dave handed me his Nikon D300 and told me to shoot whatever I wanted to, and so I did.

The photos I took weren't all perfect, but I had never actually used a DSLR before, so I thought I had done good. Christmas of 2008, I asked for my first DSLR, a Nikon D60. I did get what I wanted, and I've been shooting ever-since. I have the standard kit lens (18-55mm VR), as well as a Nikkor 55-200mm VR.

I enjoy shooting landscapes, urban areas, and vehicles. Of the main three, I must say that I enjoy vehicle photography the most. Because of the area that I live in, I'm extremely limited in terms of what I can shoot. And again, because of this, I have to shoot mostly nature.

The year is 2011, and my goal is to actually make something of my Flickr account. My parents always said I had a natural photographic talent, and I'm going to let everyone see it. My mother died in a tragic car accident on March 29, 2011. My father lost his battle with cancer on September 10, 2011. They've both went home to be with the Lord, and they're both perfect* now :).

Anyways, I now shoot with a Nikon D5100. I shoot mostly automotive, but I'm venturing into new things :).
