I am a Native American artist/photographer/designer of Cherokee descent and now live in beautiful Eastern Oklahoma, where I have enjoyed serving on the board the Cherokee Artists Association, Inc. as one of its founding members. Since leaving the Dallas area in 2003 where I primarily painted murals, I am now painting primarily Native American subjects, using techniques of the old masters, as well as using mixed media.

I've had the great pleasure of meeting and working alongside my Cherokee artist comrades and feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity of working with my workshop students - who never fail to amaze me with their talents. Participating in Native American art shows has also been no insignificant learning experience! It makes me proud to be counted among such talented artists.

Along the way, I've acquired several reference photos for my paintings and over the years, have also created several digital paintings using Photoshop. However, I've only just begun to show my photographs, and this seemed like a good place to start.

I have also realized that the first images I uploaded needed to be of higher resolution and in jpg format (as opposed to gif format) so I am in the process of replacing those. (I'm starting to get the hang of it ). Thanks for your patience!
