I am a wife, mother, and photographer who has been fascinated by cameras and photography for as long as I can remember. For most of my life, I've been very busy photographing places and things.

Here's a great example: While everybody was snapping photos of their friends on our eighth grade field trip to D.C., I was taking photos of the Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial.

That probably should have been a big hint.

Things changed in July of 2006, my first child was born. My photographic eye instantly shifted. I understood the obsession of recording faces and moments to share and remember forever.

Obsess I did.

And still do.

Right now I am working on perfecting my skills and researching the business end of photography. I'm a SAHM at the moment, but would like to start up a business in three years or so when all the kids are in school.
