SHAG (Philadelphia)'s photostream

For Matt and Jenn, it started out as a simple appreciation for the clean lines and superb functionality of Mid Century Modern design. Then it became an obsession. And now it is Shag, because, well they ran out of room in their home. But before they jumped rather impulsively into the unforgiving land of small business ownership, they had other lives. Some may even say interesting ones. They met in the San Francisco Bay area where they were working in theatre and new to the whole laidback left coast vibe thing. When that got old, they moved to NYC where Jenn spent long days and nights designing for Martha Stewart after she went to jail (Martha that is, not Jenn). And now they reside in the City of Brotherly Love where, when not starting new businesses, Matt teaches theatre at Temple University and Jenn designs in the graphic arts at the branding agency 160over90. Hopefully, your living room will benefit from their unique combination of obsession, experience and foolishness.
