I'm a dabbler, a dilettante, if you will. Actually, I'm a freelance writer in the Twin Cities and I take pictures for my stories because I have a lousy memory.

I also have to justify my impulsive decision to have a camera just like Nina's. Now I just have to figure out what secret lens she bought to make all her shots so superior.

Since I don't go anywhere and don't have kids, I tend to take pictures of:

1. My husband
2. Our dogs
3. Our motorcycles
4. Our house
5. Other people's dogs
