The San Francisco Historical Photograph Collection is part of the San Francisco History Center of the San Francisco Public Library. The San Francisco History Center is the designated archives for the City and County of San Francisco. The San Francisco Historical Photograph Collection contains photographs and works on paper of San Francisco and California views from 1850 to the present. The goal of the Center is to document San Francisco life and history.
