My name is Setareh and I was born in Iran, I grew up in Sweden, and now I live in Paris. Paris is not only the city of love, but also THE city for art lovers. Artistic workmanship permeates the baroque buildings, the manicured gardens, and the magnificent cuisine. To live in Paris is to discover a new sensation at every streetcorner. Daily, I am bombarded by a vibrant scene where the people live in art and art lives in the people, whether or not they recognize it. It’s a dream come true for me to wake up in Paris with the curiosity and hunger to get to know someone or discover something new.

Even though I breathe and live art, taking pictures, painting, and writing have always been a hobbies of mine, next to my professional work. However, I could definitely see myself working as a full-time artist, and having my own gallery/company. Time will tell.

My passions in life are and have always been: art, travel, photography, food, people, languages, and books. I am happiest when surrounded by people I love and care about. I feel the most comfortable around people who are open-minded, honest, humble, generous, kind, and ambitious.

One of my favorite quotes in life is written by Swami Vivekananda who says, “Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life—think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success, that is way great spiritual giants are produced.”
