Sergey S. Shirin is my real name. I live in Velikiy Novgorod and work in Saint Petersburg, Russia, two hundred kilometres away from my home. I know it’s too far. Therefore I hear very often I’m an idiot. And I hear very often I’m a hero. Actually, I’m at ease on this long journey. I never waste my time and always keep myself busy. For instance, this text made on journey.

I’m a senior lecturer of the International humanitarian contacts chair of the School of international relations at the St. Petersburg state university.

I deliver lectures in "New information technologies in the system of international relations" and "Contemporary information systems and international relations". These courses are devoted to the Internet.

Despite the sphere of my academic interest is intercultural communication and interaction of cultures in new information environment, I don't like the model of network realized in the Internet. I can't stand with its commercial nature. I can't understand why I must pay my ISP for each byte of common property which is downloaded by me.

My goal is to change the Internet access from an item of expenses into a source of income. So I try

- to earn money in world financial markets using services provided by companies Marketiva and Regent Markets Group;

- to invest earned money in high yield investment programs;

- to sell useful information about virtual moneymaking and to share my profit with my customers (more info on http://xyun.info);

- to find interesting and cheap things and to sell them at a higher price.

Besides that,

- I study information science at the Internet University of Information Technologies (INTUIT.RU - site in Russian only);

- I make brief reviews of literature about e-business on the forum BXOD.RU (in Russian only);

In the Internet, I share my photos with my friends.

And my students can find the programs of all my lectures in the Internet, too.
