I'm a software/system test engineer working in Southern New England. My interest range from all sorts of outdoors activities such as hiking, kayaking, sailing, fishing, tennis, geocaching, scuba diving, cursing the back roads on my Harley and photography. I prefer live music and local bands, the occasional movie and a good book. Spending quality time with family and friends is paramount.

Several years ago I rekindled my love of photography, mostly due to Flickr. The quality of photos, the imaginative spirit and the people on Flickr are incredible and a constant source of inspiration.

I've learned most of what I know about photography through experimentation. Aside from the stuff I do for fun I shoot a lot of events (concerts, sport & ceremonies) for the organizations I belong to and very rarely will you see those images posted here. The majority of the images in my photostream were taken by me unless otherwise noted. At the moment photography is mostly a hobby, taking mostly nature, architectural, landscape and night shots. I find myself drawn to night photograph, so when I'm not too tired after a days work I become a creature of the night, a nocturne; it's very peaceful and relaxing.

I sell a photo here and there to Ad Agencies and work the occasional function as requested.

I feel my images are amateur at best and I would appreciate any and all comments and constructive criticism.

My Olympus E10 has been plagued with battery holder/power issues, so it wasn't get much use and up until just recently I couldn't afford a new DSLR. I have five sets of NiMh 1600 & 2100 mAH AA batteries which perform flawlessly in other devices, but placed in the E10 battery holder and I only manage 6 to 10 shots before the low battery indicator comes on and the camera shuts down. It’s very discouraging. I understand that this is a fairly common issue with both the E10 & E20’s. I have recently purchased a DigiPower DPS-9000 external battery pack which has brought some life back to this camera.
