I've generally always had a camera of some description, but I only started realising that the photos I take could, potentially, someday, be more than just snapshots a couple of years ago. Since then, I've learned a hell of a lot and spent a lot of money too :) I started out (not counting my snapshotty film cameras over the years) with a little Sony Cybershot, and now shoot with a Canon 400D, and occasionally a Holga. You'll generally find I always have some sort of project on the go, too.

I can honestly say that getting into photography has changed my life and the way I look at the world; I have much more of a sense of wonder about the little things in life and believe that almost everything can be beautiful. Now I'm frequently astounded by things like the way the light is hitting those trees, or the lines of the bus shelter over there, or the colour of that bike. So I tend to find more and more often that I'm taking my camera everywhere as I often end up kicking myself when I don't. Sadly I'm stuck in an office for most of the day, which rather limits my photographic opportunities, but I try my best!
