By exploring the world equipped with only our five tools – touch, smell, flavor, sight and sound – art helps us reassemble life’s jumbled fragmentation into meaning. To keep our tools sharp we must use them as often or possible, as time will dull their edges.

We created Sensory Media as a means to pay better attention and to expand our own sense of perspective and experience. We long to remain inquisitive and to lose ourselves in exploration. Our films taste the unfamiliar, wrestle grief, peek into chaos and incite others to navigate life with curiosity and imagination.

Our work embraces the powerful immediacy and influence of visual and auditory media and its artistic potential. Touching on issues such as human rights, sustainable development and environmental justice, we maintain the hope that our art is a rediscovery that life is beautiful, intricate and always around us if we stop to sense.
