Spouse, father, musician, composer, graphic designer, typographer, photographer, geek.
I shoot film almost exclusively, in both vintage and modern cameras. I've just added a little low-fi digital with the recent acquisition of a cell phone.
Some of my other work is on my personal site, www.rednotebook.org/.
Photos from my May 2009 tour with Vic Rawlings are viewable at www.flickr.com/photos/stevenvic/.
"To find a form that accomodates the mess, that is the task of the artist today." --Samuel Beckett
"I don't want to sell anything, buy anything or process anything as a career. I don't want to sell anything bought or processed or buy anything sold or processed, or process anything sold, bought or processed or repair anything sold, bought or processed, you know? As a career, I don't want to do that." --Lloyd Dobler, Say Anything

"Steve:
Love the Beckett quote and the many images on your site--.
Arno Minkkinen inscribed a book of his photos "Art is risk made visible". Living a varied and interesting life, and capturing it as you do in your photos, may be said to be the same!"9th February, 2007

Marshed says:
"senorton is one of those guys that I look up to when it comes to old school and large format photography. His work ranges from panoramas to slow night shots, to 35mm to 6x9cm. Great composition and creative processing are really his key traits and I'm never disappointed when a new work of his appears."
