I'm a "rabid" amateur in photography who finds taking pictures very relaxing and rewarding. And yes I'm a Flickr addict, I can sit and just browse for hours.

Where will this hobby (recently re-ignited) take me? I have no idea, but I know it's going to be one hell of a journey.

Outside of shooting photos I'm an IT guy. I love to script and typically I build my own tools. PowerShell, VBScript and shell scripting are my go-to tools. I specialize in messaging, collaboration, automated software distribution, group policy and security. I never use Geek Squad because, as you may have guessed, I am a geek.

This photo thing... It's got me. It's beyond Nikon vs. Canon, it's beyond film or digital. It's the shot, the craft, the spirituality of this medium. What a rush.
