The European School of Molecular Medicine (SEMM) is a private foundation for higher education in biomedicine
The goal of SEMM is to offer advanced training through an array of different tools, including seminar activities, workshops, courses, and above all postgraduate training. SEMM is currently running five PhD programs: Molecular Oncology, Computational Biology, Foundations & Ethics of the Life Sciences, Medical Nanotechnology, and Human Genetics. The characterizing traits of the PhD programs are their strong interdisciplinarity , the international dimension and the training platform based on the development of technical skills through intensive laboratory work and on the acquisition of new theoretical tools through specifically designed courses.
