My parents dabbled in photography. I grew up breaking their cameras and later learned to use them. I shot for a while with an old Olympus OM-1 and enjoyed processing my own film. But my true joy lies in the digital world. I love the freedom that digital provides. I've played with quite a few P&S digital cameras over the years, but recently I dove into the DSLR world with a Nikon D80. As I build my gear collection, I hope to learn much about photography, the world, and myself.
