I’ve always loved photography. Something I got from my grandfather and my godfather I think. Had I not been in such a rush to get out of college I probably would have done more with it than I did.
Despite hating photos of myself I have done the 365 self portrait project and almost completed a 52 week self portrait project. Somehow self-portraits were therapy for me after a few years of hell. *A note on my self portrait photos - I have been paying more attention to my stats section and found myself surprised at how many of my photos are coming up on various web searches, etc. Therefore I have started to make them private as I stumble on them. I know I put them on a public website but I didn't realize how many other places they were turning up.*
Recently I feel I've let my photography suffer and have really just been phoning things in. Sometimes literally. I am hoping to be inspired again and start making some more efforts.
