I am a lifelong student of the art of photography. I have never been formally trained and did not go to school for it. However, as a child I always had a dream of becoming a National Geographic Photographer. My grandmother had the entire collection of NG magazines dating back to the 1880's and I would spend hours in her house reading the articles and studying the composition of the photos. It was has been and always will be an inspiration to see the world through a lens, capture and manipulate that image to create art.

I have been photographing various locations and scenes while on the road working as a pipeline land surveyor for the last 5-6 years. I am just now beginning to go through my collection, find the good ones and edit them for the public to see. I intend to release a few pictures a week to showcase not only my photography, but to chronicle my learning curve with Aperture and Photoshop. That is the main reason I've held onto a wealth of travel photography for so many years. I haven't had time to edit them.

If you see anything you like, please let me know. Vice versa if you see anything that needs work or could have been done differently to achieve a greater aesthetic impact, let me know (I'm only here to learn and grow as an artist). It is my intention to create images that are pleasing to the eye as well as to capture the timeless moments in places I've been that have inspired me.
