My name is Rachel, I'm 31 years old, and live in Nova Scotia. I used to study Liberal Arts and loved it! But, I had to take a break from that because of illness. Now I'm learning...that learning never stops, as long as you let it. Life is the best professor you'll ever have.

I'm still trying to figure out if goals are healthy. Is it better to have a very fluid goal in mind? The journey is everything, after all. The watery vision I conceive of now includes being a mother, a partner, a kind relative, a supportive friend, a photographer, a writer, a traveller near & far, a baker, an artist in every way, and to make a restful & nurturing home charged with love and creativity. I want a miniature farm & nature to be part of that home. I hope to work with wildlife throughout my life.

I grew with a mother, a father, and one little sister. She lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia, now, and my mother and I live in the North Shore. It's beautiful. My father died more than half a decade ago. I may one day move to Saint John, New Brunswick. It feels like home, or another kind of home.

I am addicted to nail polish. I spend a lot of time each week painting my face with my ridiculous makeup collection. Yesterday, as of rewriting this profile, my face was covered completely in gold powder. I was feeling Egyptian.

I sing hours every day. I avoid doing the dishes.

I have two small dogs (Tumnus & Bilbo), two cats (Kyle Valenti & Melody Pond) and a 29-gallon tank of cichlids who constantly fight. A little ghost hedgehog lives here; her name was Hermione.

My dating type is Dryad-Wood Nymph, if you should want to date me. I'm sure you do.
