I have spent my entire life appreciating and studying art. Being raised in Santa Rosa, California by a family of a combination of historians, artists and designers it was natural for me to follow suit and explore my artistic niche. I have my degree in and have been practicing Print and Web Design professionally, but I am and have always been a fine artist at heart. I have taken the "artists eye" I have acquired from my traditional art training and have chosen to apply it from my perspective behind a camera.

Photography to me, is a vessel to share one's perspective of a moment in time. To be able to instantaneously capture a memory and showcase it to the world is an inspiring idea to me. I have studied art in the form of art history, paint, sculpture and various fields within design and much of that knowledge and technique has culminated through my photography.

I have also been fortunate to travel the world from Northern Europe to Southern Australia and many of my best memories are captured here in the form of the images on this site. From exploring the streets of Copenhagen in Denmark, to hiking around Ayers Rock in the heart of the Red Centre in Australia, to climbing to the summit of Tinto Hill in Scotland.

I have always believed that there is inherent beauty in all things. My mission as an artist is to present much of what the world has overlooked in a fresh way. To capture color, light and structure all mixed in compositions that offer a unique viewpoint. To look closer and bring details of that unique beauty to the surface. I will continue to evolve as an artist through my life journey and experiences with my art and my travels.
