It happens in an instant. An instant of a long journey over in the twinkling of an eye, or perhaps a years-long that ends in a brief moment – a phenomenal instant manifests itself directly to the inner-conscious being like glancing at the source from which all known matter is originated. Such a serendipitous phenomenon became my trigger to a lifelong search to what my eyes had witnessed. I have seeing it only once and were near whenever I flirted with death or whenever I was deeply in love. Sometimes they were just fleeting moments, elusive, in which the sequence of events are so obvious and all that is left is to write the past from the future tense. Probably the only time one could be released from the chains of Demiurge, no randomness, no brightness and darkness, or the good and evil....

And so that’s me for better or worse – a frustrated photographer who quixotically trying to capture elusive moments not yet photographed in Ukbar, Ucbar, Ooqbar, Ookbar,...

"I'm so happy to be writing something about David Mor's work. His photos are powerful, dramatic, and big in many aspects. First of all, he renders colour beautifully. The colours in the shadow areas of many of his photographs are exquisite, and saturated. He has an keen eye for beauty and for subtlety---even in the dramatic epic photos, which also have the look that they could be large wall-sized paintings as well as tiny 3x4 snaps---in this way his epic photos are very painterly. One comes away refreshed by his photos for these lush qualities, as well as the powerful drama of his locale and subjects which could by themselves just make the photo substantial, but David usually moderates and balances this weightiness with skill. His black and white photos are rendered with great care, it seems, and he balances the dramatic subjects so well with a quiet style. Some of his b&w rendering of texture and tone is unbelievably beautiful. His work in general has religious subjects and themes, but his abstract work also carries a spiritual undertow. Some of his photos have street people in a passing light, which is for a moment an apotheosis of that person. A photographer who looks for those moments, says a lot about the photographer's humility, respect, his ideals, where his heart is at, and what is in the center of his heart, which he chooses to express in art, and it is beautifully expressed."

"I still remember the first moment I saw David's photos. They all looked original and quite unique!
Now that I am more familiar with him, his visions is now much deeper that comes with the confidence to expose his own world to all of us.
Browsing through his photostream might take us through a spiritual Journey, which to my mind is a living Master of capturing light and shadow. Obviously one can see that photography is a very important part of his life.

In fact I must say that your images come from deep within, and you vest in your soul in every image that you capture David!

I'm very glad to consider him as a friend!
Keep blasting me away with your positive karma David!
and many thanks for following my stream, my dear friend."
