I'm a 24-year-old wife and mother to two adorable and precocious little girls. My husband is active duty in the US Navy and we're stationed in San Diego. I've loved photography for some time and am happy to finally be back with an SLR, my Nikon D50. I shot for a few years with my dad's old Minolta 35mm film, which I still love but is in need of repair. In the meantime, I'm enjoying the merging of digital and SLR mediums and hope to create some wonderful pictures, even if I'm the only one that thinks so!

I shoot portraits of my kids, of course, and of friends and family and their children. However, my interest lies much more in the inanimate, creative and "artsy", I guess you could say, aspects of photography. I love to explore all emotions through pictures and hope I can convey them to all the Flickr folk.
