Screentest is the UK's only National Student Film Festival, a celebration of the very best in student film-making from around the country!

Each year we host the three-day film festival in Bristol, with celebrity speakers, screenings, workshops and an awards ceremony.

Screentest 2007 took place over the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of March, with over 60 films shown on four screens throughout the weekend. The ever-popular 'Lock-in' screening returned (with a selection of dark and challenging student films), and we were proud to host a screening of short film nominees hot from BAFTA's 2007 event: the first time they were shown to the general public!

Screentest 2008 entered preliminary planning recently, and we are pushing ahead to ensure next year's event is the best yet. We are also continually developing our ever-growing distribution network to showcase student films across the country -- look out for our screenings at a Students' Union near you!
