I am an avid amateur photographer (wife would say obsessed). I just recently upgraded from my Fuji Finepix s9000 to the crowd pleasing Canon 5D Mark II. My lenses of choice (because they are the only two I own to date) is the 100mm f/2.8 Macro and 70-300mm f4-5.6.
I would categorize myself as a nature photographer, but have recently become entranced with sports photography. Mainly since I work in the VCU athletic department. You will probably see many of my athletes on this site.
I love to travel, favorite places are Newport, RI and Beaufort, SC. I also love the Chesapeake Bay area and the natural beauty that hasn't been too heavily touched by commercialization.
