Scott Herdling Photography was formed in 2005. I enjoy capturing the beauty in people, places and things. My first passion was nature photography, capturing a shot of what many have viewed, extracting its beauty and showing it through my vision. I have photographed several national parks and scenic landscapes. One of my ongoing projects is to photograph all the national parks in the US. I'm also looking into publishing a photo book of Vermont waterfalls.

My passion also includes automotive photography, capturing the subtle lines of the automobile in motion and static. I have done freelance photography for Performance Volkswagen Magazine and the Vortex Media Group.

In 2007 I ventured into wedding photography, capturing the hope, beauty and promise of a couples future. I shoot with a combination of traditional and photojournalism styles to create special images that tell the story of your special day. The thing I love most about wedding photography is that no two are the same and each one creates a new challenge.
