Schindler started life in 2000 tucked away on the outskirts of Stockport town centre in a small village called Heaton Moor . Our primary aim was to try to offer something different than our competitors were offering, we wanted to maintain a cutting edge image without being to over the top. We managed to do this by finding up and coming brands from trade shows around the world. Our policy enabled Schindler to build up a loyal customer base and over the years, these customers have helped Schindler grow into one of the finest retail stores in the UK.

Schindler relocated in 2005 to large, more central premises in the back streets of stockport town center, Where we extended our shop over three floors, housing some of the finest brands you can buy, finely hand picked by our own buying team, with over 40 years retail and buying experiance

The shop was fitted out to give it a more boutique feel, and help the customer feel welcome and create a relaxed, informal, friendly shopping atmosphere, no attitude, no stress. with brands changing all the time to keep up with general demand.

In 2008 Schindler store website was launched allowing worldwide access to our store and brands.This year, we celebrate our 10th Anniversary and we have all sorts of stuff going on throughout the year and new brands being added. We have a new department opening within the store, focusing on English, American and Japanese brands with European brands to compliment.
