Check out my birding blog, just started in November, with a complete list of birds seen this last November in Israel, (2009)

I am now adding photography to my passion of birding, and am enjoying it immensely. I started digiscoping in February of 2009. I am very new to the concept of photography, and am learning as much as I can.

My greatest inspiration is Paul Bannick, who wrote and photographed The Owl And The Woodpecker. I got my copy in October, and my life will never be the same.

I most look forward to returning to Eilat Israel, and helping at the research centre, volunteering with trapping and assisting in whatever fashion I am able, this coming October.
I will hopefully have enough time and energy to take photos while I am there. Noam Weiss (who was my guide and mentor there) is a tireless conservationist whose passion for birds and ethics is contagious!
