Rogers' Diary's photostream  

I rarely do pretty pictures. What I shot is life. Sometimes people maybe posing but that is because they want to pose for the shot. I often catch them off guard and the next pix will show how they really are.

I don't deny using Photoshop, mostly because my Canon is crap. The previous model was much better. I mostly use Photoshop for the "artie" set where I push the light, the grain, add colour filters, remove the colour add more colour, a bit of glow, and a few more manipulations, as needed.

The basic Photoshop treatment is : Auto level, Sharpen Edge. I add a warm orange or sepia photo filter to night shot or people who have been flashed. Green for plants and yellow for buildings, something I wouldn't "manually" do with my old Minolta X-700.
