Sarah Pollman is an artist and photographer working out of Boston, Massachusetts, with a passion for creating exciting, new work, and a desire to engage with the critical and creative arts community. Her work has been shown throughout the US, including shows at the Danforth Museum of Art, the PhotoCenter Northwest, and the Vermont Photography Workplace. Additionally, Sarah has been included in online exhibitions and photo blogs, as well as publications such as the PhotoCenter Northwest’s annual catalog.

Sarah will re-enter the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Tufts University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree, as an MFA candidate in the fall of 2011 to study photography and interrelated media. During her time at the schools as an undergraduate student, she worked under influential Boston photographers and was exposed to a broad range of photographic processes, experimenting in a vast array of media.

Sarah was born in 1984 in Mesa, Arizona, although she spent the majority of her childhood in suburban New England, which has inspired her studies of suburban youth culture.
