Sarah Jane Hall was born in Blacktown in 1984 before growing up in country New South Wales. This formed part of her love for the outdoors with many enjoyable weekends spent exploring on her pushbike. With two artistic parents this forged her passion for vintage photography, art and design, and as soon as she acquired her first camera - a 35mm film Konica - it became her constant companion.
Sarah looks for the beauty around her - great or seemingly insignificant - as there is so much all around waiting to be harnessed. A turning point in Sarah's interest in photography came with the arrival of her digital SLR, and she now focusses on photography and design as a career, creating vintage inspired images and art. Bye Bye Blackbird was created whilst in search of inspiration, to capture something different, something special.
