About Me:
Sara Desjardins Photography was established in 2006. After a decade of searching, I was reminded that my love of photography was always there, just dormant. My interest in photography began and ended in high school and then miraculously reappeared a decade later while I was desperately searching for passion in my life.

Upon reacquainting myself with glass, apertures, natural light and studio flash, I barely skipped a beat and fell right back in love with the images I saw through the viewfinder.

I believe there is beauty in every form and every person. The ability to take the ordinary and make it extraordinary. Sharing this passion allows others to see what I sees. Simple lines. Beautiful form. Deep emotion.

My work graces the homes of many, warms the hearts of people and brings smiles to those searching for simplicity in life.

As a professional Counsellor by trade, and a photographer for daily inspiration, I strive to create balance in myself and those around me. I am fascinated by people, nature and daily events. Life...in general.

Currently, I reside in Toronto with my quiet, furry room-mate, Ellie and my husband, actor and musician, James Dallas Smith.
