I'm a professional freelance photographer operating in and around the Greater Toronto Area. I focus on many different areas of photography including live music, portraits, event and wedding photography.
II publish photographs regularly at both saracollaton.com and on my flickr account, and interact with people through Twitter daily.
Photography is my life's passion. Telling stories, capturing moods, describing the inventive interplay between human beings -- these are the things that drive me.
I'm inspired as much by the lush work of fictional cinema as I am the work of the many talented film photographers that make the world a more beautiful and interesting place. I admire the cinematographic style of work by artists like David Lynch, Stanley Kubrick and Gregory Crewdson. I strive to do with my camera what Tom Waits can do with a piano and a microphone.
In addition to commission work and work for hire, licenses are available for most of my current portfolio. Signed prints are also available on a limited basis by request. As an active contributor to social media, I also welcome any inquiries regarding podcasts, interviews, or product reviews.
