Once my wife announced we were pregnant (Nov 05), I decided I better learn how to take better pictures. In June of 06 I finally made my way to a local camera store, bought a DSLR and hoped this new camera would take better pictures for me - I was so wrong. After reading a few books and taking some online classes (www.ppsop.com), photography has become a hobby/passion of mine; I enjoy looking at life through the lens. Photography has provided our new family with some memorable images and moments.
If I could give any advice to people wanting to take better pictures, a big expensive camera won't do it for you - your money is better spent on a $200 course.
