Santiago hails from Bogotá, Colombia where magic realism walks the streets of everyday life. Now based in Atlanta, Georgia, his photography has embraced his surrealist South American roots.
In doing so, he gives birth to imagery that conveys a negotiation of contradiction between everyday elements, thus creating inventive images that touch on social and psychological themes.
In addition to being a dedicated fine art photographer, his work has also been embraced by both editorial and advertising arenas.
