Island 2000 is a non-profit organization working on the Isle of Wight. Because we are so far south in the UK it hardly ever snows here and so every year we orgaize the SandmanSnowman event on one of the Island's beaches. Here we make all manner of splendid snowmwn from sand, all with authentic coal and carrots and whatever else happens to be lying around at the time. here you can see images from the 2007 and 2008 events.
