My husband checks himself for loose threads after he hugs me. That's probably all you really need to know, but here's the rest:

I've been married to my best friend for more than 30 years. We have two amazing adult children and a beautiful daughter-in-law.

Our extended family is huge, and very close, so I'm obsessively quilting, sewing and knitting for somebody at all times. I started sewing when I was 11 and always loved it, but quilting is my grand passion. I have an HQ16 that makes it fun and easy - or it would be easy if I was better at it!

Likes & Dislikes:
Mostly likes, really. Modern designers and fabrics make me giddy, but I've been quilting for forever and I still use batiks and asian fabrics. I have very few novelty fabrics, although the ones I have I adore (I think giraffes are irresistable). I'm big on orange (bright to burnt), but there isn't any color I dislike (unless it's muddy).

Things I'd love to have:
I'm crazy about mini-quilts! I have wall space in most every room of my house reserved for a grouping. Spa colors for my master bedroom, brights for my sewing room, and warm colors for the rest of the house.

I also love fabric baskets (for notions, knitting, fabric and stuff), project bags and totes, and anything to do with coffee, tea or martinis.
