My artwork tends to capture life as it exists in it's own element- free and unbound by poses or controlled situations. I am drawn towards the challenge of finding compositions and angles that compel people to reflect on the daily things we take for granted. I want us to confront and question our old attitudes and beliefs that keep us in fear of one another. I think we are in need of connection- especially with those that are treated as outcasts - the homeless, lonely, elderly, LGBT population, and others that are still made to feel they are unworthy and don't exist. We must no longer be constrained by fear and politics. I want to share in hope, peace, and change for a world covered in conflict and oppression. I want my art to evoke a change that begins in our daily thoughts and perhaps one day manifests itself into actions and words. To once again remember our human connections and learn to unify through our differences. To love and forgive unconditionally. To see and treat one another as you would yourself. To share of the light you were given by the Creator who made us all ONE in Christ.
