My name is Samantha Wilkinson. I am a design student at Furness College in Cumbria. I love everything about design, from the initial idea to the finishing pieces.

My time is made up of researching new techniques and artists, creating my own work from scratch, taking photos to add to my archive, sketching, note taking, reading design blogs, adding work to deviantart and flickr accounts, experimenting with new things and concepts and generally having fun with design.

I can work with all the Adobe Suite software and love to learn new tools. I see computers as a tool that help me with the designs I produce, I do not rely on them to make my designs, as design is the creative idea in your head.

In January I will be starting a new unit about public art and will be given a brief from my local council, so that my work can be seen in public!!! yay!!

Ambition:
I would love to become a graphic designer or an advertising art director working for an agency.
