I am a secondary school teacher which is both challenging and rewarding. In my spare time I'm an eager reader and I keep a list of the books I have read over the course of the year on my blog. My main hobby is writing and have been working on two novels for ten years - in between school, uni, and work.
I love taking photos and am slowly improving my technique. I enjoy taking photos of my two border collies, the flowers that I grow in my back garden and also of the beautiful South Australian countryside.
My first digital camera was a Pentax Optio 230. Since then I have used several digital cameras: a Fujifilm Finepix S5600, Fujifilm Finepix S5800, Fujifilm Finepix S8100fd and a Fujifilm Finepix F100fd.
My latest camera is a Canon EOS 1000D (aka EOS Digital Rebel XS). I am having fun learning how to use it.
