We are the Salinas Public Library! Located in the beautiful birthplace of Nobel Prize winning author John Steinbeck! We have three branches: John Steinbeck Library, Cesar Chavez Library and El Gabilan Library.

All located in the city of Salinas, California, unofficially known as "The Salad Bowl of the Nation!" due to the huge amount of agricultural production that takes place here. Up to 80% of the lettuce, strawberry's and artichokes in United States stores today come from the Salinas Valley.
