Thanks to everyone whose views, comments and faves have been so complimentary over the last eight (!) years.
➤ After years of enjoying the community of Flickr, I'm losing interest due to many recent changes and the site's decrease in regular functionality. I'm returning to my original intent in using Flickr, which was to upload images for people to see. I'll keep using Flickr as long as it's possible to directly link to images and post them on my blog.
➤ An increasing number of my images will be non-public, due mostly to Flickr's insistence on stripping copyright information from my images', and partly due to the lack of control over the size setting here. *
* EDIT: Wow, I posted both those paragraphs BEFORE Flickr's recent drastic changes. Talk about being prophetic.
What will remain public, for now:
* Gear photos
* Gas Price photos
➤ Hard-to-find Flickr pages, the definitive list.

Photos of Wil C. Fry (12)
stratman2 (2 many pix!) says:
"Wil is one of the Flickr community's greatest assets and a down-to-earth, friendly person, very true to the Texan "friendly state" motto and the good ol' Southern charm.
Wil's photography style is very versatile and he is comfortable with any subject ranging from portraits, abstracts, food photography, architecture and sports. His devotion to his family shows in the countless great portraits of his lovely wife Marline and his beautiful daughter Rebecca.
When he's not taking pictures, he spends his spare time on many Flickr discussion groups, selflessly coming to the aid of newbies asking for photography or camera advice. No question is too tough for Wil! :o)
You can learn a lot from reading his comments and replies to other people and it's always a pleasure interacting with him in the Flickr forums.
I may not even reside on the same continent as he does, but I consider Wil as a friend even though I've never met him in real life. If I ever get to visit Dallas, I'll buy myself a ten gallon hat, hop on a bus and take a ride to Bell County to meet the man himself! :o)"

"The kind of person who makes Flickr as a community what it is: friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I truly appreciate his presence and inputs on Flickr's community. His baby's photos are wonderfully captured and add a lot of smiles to the day!"

"I refuse to believe that this man has only two arms and two legs.

"I have to say Wil's photography is an inspiration to me. He has managed to (whether he realizes it or not) set a standard for me as a photojournalist. He has also helped me to understand cameras beyond the "point and shoot" ability. Thank you again Wil for your help."

"Saint Seminole has the talent of a photographer you expect in New York City, not a town of 7,000 people. He proves you can be a great photographer and live anywere! you can see the love he has for his town through his photographs. Flickr is lucky to have him!"
