I was born in Indiana, rescued by a border collie from a ravine in Kentucky at age 2, got my first baseball at age 3 and the rest is just a blur of square dances, pool halls, string theory, black leather pants, a couple of hit songs and some girl named Zoe. I am now semi-retired in Redondo Beach, Fla., where I work odd jobs, collect aluminum cans and do a little consulting for the government on time-travel incidents and alien technology apps.
