Hello, fellow Flickrers! My name is Holly and I'm the founder/author/editor of Sacred Destinations and the photo website Art History Images.
I was born and raised in the beautiful state of Oregon, USA, but am quite smitten with the UK and Europe as well. I lived in Edinburgh for a year back in 2000, and more recently spent two years in Oxford for an MPhil (2005-07). After graduation in November 2007, my husband David and I spent a cold winter in Bonn, Germany, followed by six magnificent months driving all around Europe in 2008. We made another two-month trip to Europe in late 2010.
At home in Oregon, I keep busy sorting and editing our gazillions of photos, doing a bit of local travel, and working hard on my various website projects.
The photos in this Flickr account were taken both by me and David, although I do all the posting, editing and captioning. Most of our photos are of historic architecture and art, and most are from our years in Europe. Hope you enjoy them!
