I am basically the Entomologist and lecturer in Zoology. I am working in the Major Research Project of UGC. as a research fellow. on the Biodiversity & Taxonomy of Moths from North Maharashtra and same is the subject of my Ph.D. under the university of Pune.
i am working on Taxonomic studies on Moths since July 2007 in North Maharashtra region. This region has great flora and fauna so there is abundant diversity in Lepidopteran insects. Mr. Ryan Brookes and Dr. Roger C. Kendrick is very great resource persons were helpful for me in identification of Moths.
On 20th Nov. 2008 i attended a international conferance i.e. 2nd Asian Lepiodoptera conservation symposium at Penang, Malaysia. which giving me great platform in research field. at this conferance i personally meet with some Lepidopterist from all over the world like Dr. Roger Kendrick, Dr. B.A. Daniel, Dr. Jeremy Holloway, Mr. Isaac Kehimkar, Dr. Michael Boppre and Mr. Kushal Chaudhari.
