Sachin - A matter of life and death's photostream

I hail from the Indian subcontinent. I was born in a distant land in South India and grown up in the Tech capital of the country - Bangalore. Couple of years ago my ill-fate compelled me to be a Software engineer, which I never wanted to be. One of my boss decided to send me to United Kingdom for few days which was a blessing in disguise for me. I got my virgin camera from London - a Konica Minolta DImage Z1. I started seeing the world with my beloved camera and people...especially my friends started appreciating my photographs.

One of good things that internet gifted me was a website called "photo.net" (www.photo.net) which helped me to improve my so called "photographic skills". I started posting my photographs and the experts used to critique my photographs....thanks to all those people in photo.net.

Serendipity brought me, last year, to this mystique wonderland - China. But unfortunately I'm still working as a "Software Engineer" with a title "Senior" prepended to it. Once in while good things keep happening to me - and one such thing that happened here was my possession of Canon EOS20D which was my dream camera. Photography has now become an inseperable part of my life, I would love to see the world with my lens and travelling has become my passion. Every weekend I visit the parks, the streets, the malls and plethora of other interesting places in Shanghai just for clicking. Whenever I get a chance, I travel. I visited Beijing during National Day vacation and Fenghuang, Zhangjiajie during spring vacation. I'm deeply impressed by the beauty of this vivid and interesting nation.

Well I dont have many wishes like others do - but I just want to be a professional photographer-cum-traveller thereby roaming around the world. Just awaiting for a lucky break to happen. I'm striving hard for that to happen.
