All my life, animals have held a special place in my life. Somehow, they speak to me in my soul. Taking photos of wildlife or my own pets gives me a feeling of fulfillment and accomplishment. In a small way, I think that photos of animals can educate people and hopefully, I can instill an appreciation and love for animals in others.
I write a blog for an animal rescue group, Bayou Rescue, which formed during Hurricane Katrina. This gives me a way to make a difference in animal's lives.
