Frequently, I see my photos show up on other websites. With a few exceptions, anyone is welcome to use my photos for any reason except selling them directly. If you want to use them, I just ask that you do a few simple things.

Permission to use my photos is subject to the following conditions:

1. That you ask to use them.
2. That you e-mail me and let me know specifically which ones you are going to use (with links to their Flickr pages) and where you intend to publish them.
3. That you leave a comment on each photo's Flickr page with a link to the place where you have used them.
4. That when you use them you cite me as the photographer in your work, preferably with a link back to my Flickr photo stream.
5. Finally, that you send me a copy of your work so I can see how you used the photos. If the media is digital, a link is fine; if printed, please send one hard copy.
