Greetings...

Like you, I really enjoy seeing "Gee Wow" photographs... the ones that stop me in my tracks. And... I admire (maybe envy is the word) the skills and creativity of the artist/photographers who post such treats.

And... perhaps unlike some of you, I also really seeing "off the wall" and "out of the box" and imaginative photos (even as they break all the "rules").

As you scan my photo-stream you may notice that my subjects vary considerably. I strive to keep it that way by attempting to keep repetition of subjects to a minimum. At least that is my intention.

To at least some extent I almost always use the the magic of Photoshop (and often Topaz plug-ins) to enhance my photos. It’s what I most enjoy doing. I probably enjoy the Photoshop tweaking more than the actual shooting.

Oh! And a final thought...

I’m always disappointed when folks view my photos but then silently move on without leaving a trace. I know how burdensome it is to feel compelled to comment and I am not asking for comments. But entered a single period (the dot) just to let me know you stopped by would be nice. Just a wish sent lofting into the Flickr either.

Thanks for stopping by...!

Dick Jensen

    "Dear Richard!

You have pushed me forward in so many ways - you probably wouldn't believe how much. For that, I'll be forever greatful!
Our diptychs have been such a learning process and they have saved many lonely winter nights - as have your kind letters!
Your photostream has delighted my days - with vivid light and colours - and precise and creative composition - you are a living example that it's not about gear - it's about eye!
When I look through my viewfinder I often find myself thinking - Oh - bet Richard's gonna love this

    ... thank you for everything!"

"Dick has been most kind and encouraging to me in this flickr community now for about 2 months. He makes me feel like a serious photographer. I only hope that I can soon measure up to his quality of work. I find his photography regularly stunning with vivid colors and images and a favorite stopping point in my cruising the flickr highway. Thanks Dick for your kindness and uplifting photography and friendship."
