'Nostalgia ad nauseum'

I take a lot of photographs but never seem to share them with anyone. This site is an attempt to change that.

Most of the pictures I've taken since the early days of my photography obsession (which started around 1985) were made on 35mm black-and-white film using Kodak Tri-X and later, Ilford XP2. I "went digital" in 2004, and still shoot a bit of film now and then.

Today, I shoot all my personal stuff with a Canon Powershot A95 - obsolete but still a great camera! For 35mm film, I use a Nikon FM2 and a Contax T2. I photograph in 120 using a Mamiyaflex twin-lens reflex camera and for fun, a Holga 120N.

Update >> my A95 is now retired. I've been using a Canon Powershot G11 with great results. The A95 was abruptly retired in 2007 when it was struck by a golf ball, hit by my grandmother (lost the camera but got the picture).

Note: Some of the Sets on this site are marked as "Private", and won't display unless you are logged into this site AND you are a flickr "contact" of mine. If you want to see them, let me know, and I'll add you.
