now waxing Nikonian mostly with a D60, and sporting an Olympus Stylus 1010 with Lumix TZ3 & FZ28 (aka runz DMC). Had Kodak DX7440; but it disappeared. UPDATE: Kodak found. Sometimes use my Samsung Galaxy S Phone in a pinch!

Due to time constraints, I'm not high on required Awarding/Commenting (although I try to fulfill my commitments) and avoid joining high commitment groups, especially the extremists.

I am an african american female photographer, writer, in ministry. May my submission and submissions be a psalm unto the Lord:

A Psalm of Praise, of David. I will exalt you, my God, O King; and bless Your name forever and ever. I will bless You every day; and I will praise Your name forever and ever. Jehovah is great and to be greatly praised; and to His greatness there is no finding out. Generation to generation shall praise Your works; and shall declare Your mighty acts. I will muse on the glorious honor of Your majesty, and the things of Your wonderful works. And they shall speak of the might of Your awesome works, and I will declare Your greatness. Psalm 145:1-6.

In the past, I was mostly doing mostly recreational photography - family events, vacations, and other such ocassions. I find myself drawn to the artistic capture of the beauty of life and God's creation in all its reflections, through the eyes which I can see it - afrocentric, spiritually, and more.

I expect my representation to flourish as, with the new camera I just received, I and my husband are making this more of our life ~ in and around our 8 children, 2 dogs, and our day jobs, in addition to our other interests (surely there is time). Our pastimes include learning, watching movies and seasons of some television shows, to play keyboards (side by side) and appreciate music, and getaway. I love him, our life, my Lord.
